Welcome to Rusticalis – Your Gateway to the Rural World.
Here you can find many local places worth visiting. In the first year of the project – 2018 – I would like to focus on the Polish countryside and rural tourism. I grew up in a small village and in my later years I became a passionate traveler. I visited many countries, mostly in Europe, and fell in love with being on a road.
That’s why I decided to help people with the same intrest in travelling to find great places worth visiting. Here you can follow my path of visiting various farm stays, eco-villages and private agriculture sites. Apart from that I would like to show different sides of countryside life and invite you for a journey to the most amazing places in the world.
There is plenty of guest houses which provide amazing possibilites for everyone – families with kids, full time travellers, nomads and volunteers. I bet you will find here a quiet place for your next countryside vacation. Searching through the possible categories will help you find exactly what you want in no time! There are places for animal lovers, sites where you can stay and do yoga or meditate and other possible options. Everything just awaits for our discovery.
I’m really thankful that you visit my website even though there is still not so much content. I believe that with time there will be more and more options for travelling both for you and me. I hope to discover unforgetable rural stays and farm lodgings. With time I would love to add more local atractions such as sky diving, kayaking, horse riding and so on. If you have any questions or ideas for the next travel please contact me via a form on this website.
About the Author
My name is Ewa Maria and I create this website to share my huge passion for countryside life. I was born 25 years ago in a rural area of southern Poland. For the first years of my life I enjoyed our quiet neighbourhood, especially the forest. I believed that there are plenty of magical creatures living in there.
When I was 18, I went for the first time abroad and fell in love with travelling. I decided to have a gap year and after the secondary school I went to England to learn the language and work as an au-pair. I never went back to study and from that time I’ve lived in many countries an travelled even more.
With this website I would love to become a full time nomad. I want to encourage others to spend more time in nature and fall in love with countryside, just as I did many years ago!
